Overview:
Have you ever wondered why some people act like they do or say certain things or have certain viewpoints?
Part of the reason could be due to the generation that they belong to. Our workplace is changing - each generation gets credit for their piece but also for the clash this brings. With potentially 5 generations working together change can be hard and communication even harder.
This interactive and enjoyable session will look at the 5 generations currently in the workplace: Traditionalists, Boomers, Xers, Millennials, GenZ/Edge/Pluralists
The oldest of Gen Z would be around the age of 24 and the youngest Traditionalist around age 75. Is it any wonder that these 5 different groups of people might clash over various things in the workplace? This session will give you some insight into how these distinct generations think and what causes these clashes to happen.
Nancy Gunter has led groups all over the United States in this educational and entertaining look at each generation. She will give your team a fresh perspective of each generation explaining the reasons, finding humor with each generational personality and ultimately changing the way your team members view those from a different generation. Participants will leave the session with more insight into what causes each generation to think differently, why this might create problems, and suggestions on how to work differently to create a more cohesive work environment.
