Membership in New York MGMA is on a rolling 12-month basis. You can enroll as an Active, Affiliate, Faculty or Student member.

For practices which want to enroll five or more individuals as members, select the Organizational Membership. Included are benefits afforded to Active members and: 1) Discounted Dues - The more individuals you enroll as members, the higher the discount on membership dues; 2)Transferability – If a member leaves the organization, the membership can be transferred to another individual who is affiliated with the organization; and 3) E-Z Billing - One consolidated invoice for membership renewal.

A General Member is an individual who is employed by or owner of an entity directly engaged in the management of a medical practice. A General Member is entitled to vote on all matters presented to the membership and to serve as an officer and/or member of the Board of Directors.

A Health System Membership is applicable to the General member category [individuals employed by an entity directly engaged in the management of a medical practice or the delivery of healthcare services].

An Organizational Membership is applicable to the General Member category [Individuals employed by an entity directly engaged in the management of a medical practice].

An Affiliate Member is an individual employed by an entity which provides goods or support services to a medical practice and/or healthcare provider. An Affiliate Member is not eligible to serve as an officer but is eligible to be a voting member of the Board of Directors.

Faculty - $120.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments
A Faculty Member is an individual employed as a full-time professor in business or healthcare administration in an accredited institution of higher learning. A Faculty Member is not entitled to vote or serve as an Officer or Director.

Student - Free Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments
A Student Member is an individual enrolled as a full-time student, in accordance with the guidelines of the accredited institution of higher learning, in a healthcare related degree program. A Student Member is not entitled to vote or serve as an Officer or Director.
