Angela Bashaw has worked with the physician practices at The University of Vermont Health Network Alice Hyde Medical Center in various roles since 2004. In 2018 AHMC primary care practices implemented a nurse driven Medicare Annual Wellness Visit program to increase revenue and provide this valuable service to our Medicare patients. Angela will present the implementation of the program and give an overview on the progress since the program started.
Zaidee Laughlin joined CVPH in 1992 and has been in various recruitment and retention roles ever since, moving into her current position in 2012. She will join us to talk about retention drivers and best practices. She will facilitate a discussion about your retention successes and challenges, and offer ideas about best practices that support retention throughout the various stages of an employee’s experience. Prior to attending the session think about what your own employee experience has been like, what made/makes you feel welcome and valued, and what keeps you connected to your work.
