About the Webinar

During this webinar, Nan Gallagher, Esq. provides a comprehensive overview of risks and pitfalls to medical practices when adding or terminating personnel.  From the overarching principles to consider when hiring staff to the legal and appropriate ways to fire staff, attendees are given insight on the nuances on how to manage these decisions properly.

About the Speaker

Nan Gallagher, Gallagher Campanella LLC

Nan Gallagher has devoted her career exclusively to the advocacy of healthcare professionals and entities. An accomplished healthcare litigation and administrative attorney, she focuses her practice on licensing, regulatory and credentialing matters in New Jersey and New York.

Ms. Gallagher is a nationally recognized authority on groundbreaking healthcare topics, sought after for her dedicated focus on often controversial pro-physician platforms. In addition to various medical societies, she serves as General Counsel to the Professional Assistance Program of New Jersey & the Medical Staffs of Morristown Medical Center, Chilton Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center, & CarePoint Hoboken University Medical Center.

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Gallagher was awarded a US Presidential Fellowship from President Bill Clinton to study law abroad at La Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University, with a double-major in English and Spanish. After earning her JD from New York Law School, she served as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. Mahlon L. Fast, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Civil Division.

Ms. Gallagher is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the District of Columbia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. In 2017 and 2018, she was recognized as a SuperLawyer®* both nationally and in New Jersey in the field of healthcare and has received the Client’s Choice Award  for excellence in 2016, 2017 and 2018 by the highly regarded attorney rating website, AVVO.com*.
